Patrick Quernemoen has been a Member of the PGA of America for over eighteen years.  He has worked in multi-faceted sports and lifestyle businesses related to developing golf in China.  Mr. Quernemoen's most recent postings include: General Manager, OneClub Golf Management; General Manager Nicklaus Club-Beijing, where he successfully rebranded and relaunched two private golf clubs in China. 


Mr. Quernemoen's experience in the China golf market includes: international brand localisation, club development, management, sales & marketing, membership involvement, finance, player development, education, and family development.


Mr. Quernemoen holds an MBA from Mississippi State University, as well as a BA from Mississippi State University with majors in Marketing and Professional Golf Management.  Mr. Quernemoen is fluent in both English and Mandarin.  Patrick is married with two young children.

KEVIN SMELTZ, Director of Golf

Kevin Smeltz has worked with some of the best in the game including Major winners as well as men and women ranked in the top 10 in the Rolex World Rankings.  Mr. Smeltz real passion however is for training and developing junior golfers.


Mr. Smeltz graduated from the University of North Florida, where he received All-American Honors.  Mr. Smeltz's inquisitive nature proved coaching was a perfect fit.  Mr. Smeltz began his career serving as David Leadbetter’s assistant for a year and a half enabling him to work major championship winners such as Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, and Greg Norman.   Mr. Smeltz was the Director of Instruction, as well as the Director of Training and Certification Worldwide for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.  Mr. Smeltz experience also comes from being the Director of Golf at two full time junior academies 


While under his instruction, Kevin’s players have won 22 tournaments on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, and LPGA Tour. Kevin has taught two U.S. Walker Cup team members, two No. 1-ranked college players, a No. 2-ranked college player, and many top-ranked juniors.
