Showcase Direct Entry Applicants: Due to overwhelming demand and fully subscribed Qualifiers, additional Showcase spots have been released. The Showcase is now open to all competitive junior players aged 13 and above – regardless of UTR level. All participants will gain official UTR ratings through verified matches during the event.

General Event Information
Q. What is UTR?
UTR stands for Universal Tennis Rating. It is a global system that measures player skill levels on a 16-point scale. College coaches use UTR as a major factor in recruiting decisions. While important, UTR is not the only consideration — coaches also review tournament records, competition history, and academic achievements.

The UTR algorithm uses a player’s last 30 eligible matches in the last 12 months.

After as little as two UTR-verified matches, the algorithm can estimate your level with high accuracy.

All U.S. college matches are UTR-verified; players accumulate robust UTR data throughout college seasons.

Q. What is the USA College Tennis Showcase?
PacificPine Sports, in partnership with UTR Sports, is hosting the first official UTR College Tennis Showcase in Asia. UTR Sports has invited its network of U.S. college coaches to attend, both in person and online. The Showcase will:

Host seminars and recruiting talks led by UTR, college coaches, and recruiting experts

Provide opportunities to connect with U.S. college coaches in person and virtually

Accommodate up to 128 players (boys & girls, ages 13–18)
Eligibility & Player Criteria
Q. Which college coaches will be attending?
Invitations have been extended to Ivy League schools, top 15 academic universities, and top 25 Division III universities in the U.S. Many coaches have expressed interest in attending in person or virtually. A final list will be published one week before the event.
Q. What if I don’t have a UTR rating?
You may submit your CTA/ITF ranking or national ranking during registration.
Q. Can I use my CTA/ITF ranking instead of UTR?
Yes, you may submit your CTA/ITF ranking with your registration. The tournament organizers reserve the right to determine final eligibility for the Showcase.
Q. What is the cost of the Showcase?
Showcase: RMB 3,500 per player (includes 3 guaranteed UTR matches, seminars, Showcase BBQ, welcome bag, and lunch during event days)

Q. What is the recommended accommodation for the Showcase?
The recommended hotel is the Atour Hotel, located at No. 66 Yuanfeng Road, Building 4, 1st Floor, Baoshan District, Shanghai, China. Special Showcase rates include breakfast. Booking instructions will be provided after registration.
Q. Are meals included?
