Anne Aallonen


anne is a former WTA professional who played on the WTA and ITF tours for over a decade and achieved her highest wta rankings of 179 in Singles and 116 in Doubles. anne has competed at both Wimbledon and the French Open, and played in over 40 countries throughout her career, averaging 30 international tournaments a year. In her time as a professional player, she was based in Germany and coached by Niki Pilic, one of the world’s top coaches.

Anne is the former Women’s Head Coach of the HK Tennis Association, and the former Head of Junior Development and Elite Juniors at the HK Ladies Recreation Club (LRC). She has been training players professionally for over 30 years, having learnt from one of the greatest tennis coaches in the world, the legendary late Bob Brett.


Anne has coached many elite-level international players, including WTA Top-50 Finnish player Emma Laine and Tong Ka Po, Hong Kong's best-performing WTA player, who was ranked 236 in Singles and 102 in ITF World Juniors. Anne has also worked with European and Hong Kong ITF Junior players that have attained rankings of 60-800, including Michael Frick (ranked 274), Christian Frick (ranked 475) and Oskari Eerola (ranked 777).

As a coach, Anne has travelled regularly with her players to international tournaments in over 30 countries across the world. She has organised successful tennis training camps in China, USA, Asia and Europe, and organised tournament tours for Hong Kong groups.
