RAYMOND ROESSEL
DIRECTOR OF GOLF
Raymond Roessel, as our Director of Golf, oversees all of the instructional programs and is dedicated to hiring and training an elite group of coaches that supports the PGA of America Academies.
Ray is responsible for the design of the Full-time and Elite Development programs and as part of his mission to foster elite youth golf development in China, he also oversees the AJGA International Pathway Series in China as well as the PGA Schools Tournament in China.
Ray has strong relationships with the PGA of America and the PGA Tour. He has been a PGA of America member for over 25 years and is a member of the PGA of America's International Committee. Previously, Ray led the PGA Tour Series - China.
BOB PIERCE
DIRECTOR OF BASKETBALL
Coach Bob began his coaching career over 20 years ago as a middle school basketball coach in the US. Since that time he has coached high schoolers, university students, and professional athletes all over the world. His passion is for developing basketball players, young and old. Coach Bob’s extensive professional coaching experience includes Head Coach of Shenzhen’s CBA feeder team, Xin Sheng Wei Basketball, three years as Head Coach in Japan’s professional BJ-League and a stint as an Assistant Coach with the Japanese Senior National Team. Coach Bob is Five-Star Sports’ Director of Instruction and has headed up the development of our unique curriculum and coach’s training.

Nicolo Bandiera
DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL
Coach Nicolo Played football in Italy for two top youth clubs in the north of Italy, Montebelluna FC and Treviso FC (club that played in the italian Seria A). He joined the Xiamen Super League for 3 years in a row. Nicolo is a UEFA C licensed coach with additional qualifications in football scouting, talent identification and he has got the FIFA Diploma in football medicine. Nicolo has more than 10 years coaching experience, both in Italy and China. Nicolo specialise in coaching to any players between 4 to 18 years old, using his knowledge to develop their skills and abilities.

FERNANDO PEREIRA
DIRECTOR OF TENNIS
Fernando Pereira is a distinguished elite coach and former US collegiate and professional player. He currently serves as the Director of Instruction at the ATP Official Tennis Center Chengdu. Fernando has over 25 years of coaching experience across 10 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia, including participating in mentoring and coaching 50+ ATP and WTA professional players. He has a track record of guiding students to the ATP/WTA tour and to NCAA/NAIA collegiate teams.
Fernando is a Brazilian Tennis Confederation certified Elite Coach as well as a ITF certified Advanced Player Coach. Fernando was also recognized as a top 100 tennis coach in South America by the South American Coaches Association.
As a player, Fernando was ranked in the top 3 nationally in Brazil and #1 in Rio de Janeiro across junior and adult divisions (U10, U12, U14, U16, Singles & Doubles) and has also been sparring partners for ATP and WTA players.
